Karalam Grama Panchayat is a village panchayat in Thrissur district, located near Irinjalakuda. The region is well known for its agricultural importance and rural beauty.
The geographical landscape of the area is generally flat in nature. Fertile and moisture-rich soil is widely found here, making it highly suitable for paddy cultivation. As a result, rice farming is the major agricultural activity in the panchayat. In addition, coconut, banana, and various vegetables are also extensively cultivated.
